I grew up in Hout Bay, left for Norway to seek new opportunities, and spent years in hospitality meeting people who were curious about South Africa but sceptical about visiting.
I noticed that many people had doubts and misconceptions about South Africa. Visiting the country was on their “bucket lists,” but they kept postponing the trip due to limited information and trust.
My passion is to completely change that perception, and I came home from Norway to do just that. To me, South Africa is a country that has the most diverse communities, lifestyles and cultures. I want travellers to experience the simple joys of authentic local experiences, so that they want to return time and time again .
